If you’re trying to figure out whether to use Skrill or Neteller for your money transfer needs, there’s a lot to unpack. You’ve got to look at fees, account limits, preferred currency, and so much more. Luckily for you, though VolumeKings scraped the most commonly asked questions about both Skrill and Neteller, and answered them all in one easy-to-find place.
So what're we covering today?
Today’s Topics Include:
That was a lot of questions. Now - to the answers!
Let’s start with the simple stuff - what differentiates Skrill and Neteller? There is a surprisingly small difference between the two, so let’s break it down and get things a bit more clarified.
Skrill and Neteller offer very similar services and are owned by the same parent company, the Paysafe Group. However, they are not the same. The primary differences lie in each company’s fees and limits:
Skrill - all fees in Euros.
Neteller - all fees in U.S. Dollars.
All in all, no - Skrill and Neteller are not the same, though they are similar.
Skrill and Neteller are members of the same parent company, and as such, allow money transfers between each other. Simply add your Neteller wallet to Skrill, and vice versa, and you can seamlessly transfer funds between the two wallets.

This is a hard question. As you can tell from the above sections, Skrill and Neteller are quite similar and what’s best for you will vary based on what you want to do (so you can choose the service with smaller fees) and where you live.
Skrill and Neteller both offer similar sign-up processes, VIP programs, and seamless payment processing. Neteller charges slightly more for inactive accounts (£1.80 vs. Skrill’s £1.00 per month), and Skrill doesn’t charge for deposits (on verified accounts) whereas Neteller takes between 3-7%.
Additionally, Skrill offers credit card withdrawals (for a fee) whereas Neteller offers bank draft withdrawals (also for a fee). While Skrill charges more for foreign currency exchange, they also have more currencies they can work with than Neteller. Both offer great VIP programs, though Neteller’s is a slightly better deal in the early stages, while Skrill’s is great for big spenders/gamblers.
Altogether, while Skrill is slightly cheaper in most areas, has more currency options, and is accessible in more places, Neteller has quite a bit to offer to those in the U.S. and U.K. specifically.
Both Skrill and Neteller, at the time of writing this article, are accepted on Bet365. It is worth noting, however, that in 2019 both Skrill and Neteller were revoked from Bet365 due to “issues with bonus abusers,” according to EGR reporter Brad Allen, though, “Bet365 has declined to comment on the exact reasons.”
In the past two and a half years, though, Bet365 has slowly begun to accept Skrill and Neteller payments on their platform as both groups began to tighten ship.
Skrill is able to be added as usual and has offered no extra guidance for users encountering issues. Neteller, however, has given some specific instructions for users that are having issues with depositing on Bet365:
All in all, while both are accepted on Bet365, Neteller is the slightly better choice if only due to their customer service and guidance on this exact topic.
And that’s that! Neteller and Skrill are both awesome digital wallet providers that offer quite similar services. The key defining factors of the two are where they’re used, the fees they charge for various transactions, and account limits.
