Be aware that there are some limits to what can be done with funds when loading your Skrill account with a Mastercard. The most commonly-seen limit is that money deposited with a Mastercard cannot be used to buy cryptocurrency or (in some areas) gamble.

Skrill also offers a prepaid Mastercard (or Visa card, depending on where you live), which can be used in any location (physical or online) that bears the Mastercard Acceptance Mark.

Does Skrill Accept Prepaid Cards?

Can I Add Money to Skrill With Paysafecard?

You can add money to Skrill with Paysafecard just as you would add money to your Skrill wallet from any other source. Simply click the “Deposit” button along the leftmost sidebar, determine how much you’d like to transfer, and select “Next.” 

You’ll then be redirected to Paysafecard’s third-party processing and verification. Upon success, the funds will be available to you near-instantaneously.

Does Skrill Accept American Express?

Yes, Skrill accepts American Express and over 100 other commonly-accepted forms of payment in countries across the world.

Does Skrill Accept Mobile Money?

Can You Fund Skrill With PayPal?

You cannot fund Skrill with PayPal. Not only are they direct competitors, but each company uses entirely different processing methods, rendering the process both highly complicated and expensive for both companies.

You can circumvent this by transferring funds from PayPal to your bank account and then re-transferring those funds from the bank account to your Skrill wallet.

(But let’s be honest - that’s a lot of work. If you have the bank account already, it’s faster and easier to use than the roundabout method we just listed.)

Can I Link My Debit Card to Skrill?

You can link a debit card from most major card carriers to your Skrill wallet. The most commonly-accepted card carriers are Visa, American Express, Mastercard, and Maestro.
